Ingredients

For the Cauliflower
  • 1 head cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
For the Buffalo Sauce
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Large bowl
  • Baking sheet

Method

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs.
  2. In a separate shallow dish, combine the flour, panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg, then dredge it in the flour mixture, ensuring it is fully coated. Place the coated florets on a baking sheet.
  4. Let the coated cauliflower sit for about 10 minutes to allow the coating to adhere.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Arrange the cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. While the cauliflower is cooking, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the hot sauce, melted butter, white vinegar, and garlic powder until combined.
  8. Once the cauliflower is cooked, transfer it to a clean large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the cauliflower and toss gently to coat evenly.
  9. Serve immediately.
