- Prepare your breading station. Place flour in one shallow bowl. In a second bowl, whisk the eggs. In a third bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each mozzarella stick half first into the flour, coating evenly. Then dip into the beaten eggs, letting any excess drip off. Finally, coat thoroughly with the seasoned panko breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded mozzarella sticks in a single layer in your air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry at 380°F (190°C) for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Flip them halfway through cooking if desired for even browning.
- Serve immediately with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For best results, ensure mozzarella sticks are well-coated with breadcrumbs. If they are not frozen, they may melt too quickly in the air fryer.
