- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla extract. Gradually add the heavy cream and beat until stiff peaks form.
- In a trifle bowl, layer half of the pound cake cubes.
- Spread half of the cream mixture over the cake layer.
- Layer half of the strawberries and blueberries over the cream.
- Repeat the layers: pound cake, cream, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can use store-bought angel food cake or sponge cake for a quicker preparation. For an extra patriotic touch, you can add a layer of whipped cream on top and decorate with fresh berries.
