- Toast your bread, if you wish. Allow it to cool for a few minutes to prevent wilted lettuce.
- Spread the 3 pieces of cooled toast with mayo.
- On one slice, add your lettuce and tomato. Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper.
- Place a second piece of bread, mayo side down, on top of the lettuce and tomato. Add a little more mayo to the top of this piece.
- Stack your ham, turkey, bacon, and cheese. Top with the last slice of bread, mayo side down.
- Use a sharp knife to cut the sandwich into triangles. Use toothpicks to hold the layers together.
- Turn the sandwich halves on their sides to display the layers.
- Serve immediately.
