Ingredients
  

For the Oats
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or other sweetener
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
For the "Frosting"
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Method
 

  1. Combine rolled oats, milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a jar or container. Stir well.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese, milk, and maple syrup until smooth. This is your "frosting".
  3. Pour the "frosting" over the oat mixture. You can swirl it in slightly or leave it on top.
  4. Seal the container and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
  5. In the morning, stir the oats and enjoy.

Notes

You can add chopped pecans or walnuts for extra texture. Adjust sweetness to your preference.
