Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 2 pounds Chicken Breasts
  • 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning reduce by half if sensitive to spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
For the Pasta and Cheese
  • 1 pound Penne Pasta
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

  • 6 quart crock pot

Method
 

  1. Add the chicken, heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, butter, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning into a 6 quart crock pot.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is cooked through (has an internal temperature of 165 degrees F).
  3. Remove the chicken from the crock pot and shred or dice it into large pieces.
  4. Whisk the sauce in the crock pot. Return the chicken back to the crock pot and stir in the uncooked pasta.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 20-30 minutes until the pasta is tender and cooked through.
  6. Stir in the parmesan cheese. Cover for 5 minutes and allow the cheese to melt.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
