For the Toast
  • 2 slices whole grain bread or English muffin or bagel
For the Topping
  • 1/2 avocado sliced
  • 1/4-1/2 lemon juiced
  • 2/3 cup cottage cheese
  • to taste hot honey
  • to taste red pepper flakes
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
Optional Toppings
  • 1 serving everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 serving finely chopped herbs
  • 1 serving chili crunch
  • 1 serving sliced tomato
  • 1 serving fried egg

Method
 

  1. Toast your bread until it is golden brown. You can use a toaster or a toaster oven.
  2. On each slice of toast, add the sliced avocado. Squeeze lemon juice over the avocado. Add ⅓ cup of cottage cheese to each slice. Season with salt and black pepper to your liking. Drizzle hot honey over the top and add red pepper flakes if you want some heat.
