Easy Grilled Salmon with Chili Mayo

This recipe provides a simple and quick way to grill salmon fillets, perfect for a weeknight dinner. It uses minimal ingredients and straightforward steps.

Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 2 salmon fillets skin on
  • to taste fine sea salt
  • to taste olive oil
For Serving
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 2 tsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 quarter lemon

  • Grill
  • Roasting tin
  • Small bowl

Method
 

  1. Rinse the salmon fillets and pat them dry. Season generously all over with sea salt.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium heat (250C).
  3. Brush the fillets with olive oil on all sides. Place them skin side up in a shallow roasting tin.
  4. When the grill is hot, place the tray underneath it and grill for 5 minutes. Turn the salmon over and grill on the other side for 5 minutes again.
  5. In the meantime, stir the sweet chilli sauce with mayo in a small bowl.
  6. Serve the salmon with the chilli mayo and lemon quarters.

Notes

This recipe is designed for simplicity and speed. Adjust grilling time slightly based on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
