Fourth of July Snack Mix Bark

Ingredients
  

For the Bark
  • 12 oz White chocolate chips or candy melts
  • 1 cup Pretzels broken into pieces
  • 1 cup Crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup Red candy melts optional, for drizzling
  • 1/2 cup Blue candy melts optional, for drizzling
  • 1/4 cup Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
  3. Stir the broken pretzels and crispy rice cereal into the melted white chocolate until well combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. If using, melt the red and blue candy melts separately using the same microwave method as the white chocolate.
  6. Drizzle the melted red and blue candy melts over the white chocolate mixture in a decorative pattern.
  7. Immediately sprinkle the red, white, and blue sprinkles over the bark.
  8. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the bark is firm.
  9. Once firm, break the bark into pieces.

Notes

Store the bark in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
