Method
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Soak the corn in water for about 10 minutes. This helps the husks steam the corn.
- Remove the silks from the corn, but leave the husks on. You can tie the husks closed with kitchen twine if needed.
- Place the corn directly on the grill grates.
- Grill for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kernels are tender and slightly charred.
- Carefully remove the corn from the grill. Let it cool slightly before shucking.
- Brush the corn with melted butter and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
You can add other seasonings like chili powder, garlic powder, or lime juice to the butter for extra flavor.
