Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes
Servings: 4 ears
Course: Side Dish
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

Corn
  • 4 ears of corn in husks
Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Tongs

Method

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Soak the corn in water for about 10 minutes. This helps the husks steam the corn.
  3. Remove the silks from the corn, but leave the husks on. You can tie the husks closed with kitchen twine if needed.
  4. Place the corn directly on the grill grates.
  5. Grill for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kernels are tender and slightly charred.
  6. Carefully remove the corn from the grill. Let it cool slightly before shucking.
  7. Brush the corn with melted butter and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can add other seasonings like chili powder, garlic powder, or lime juice to the butter for extra flavor.
