- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Place the portobello mushrooms, gill-side up, in a shallow dish or on a baking sheet. Brush the marinade evenly over the tops and gills of the mushrooms.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the marinated mushrooms on the preheated grill, gill-side down first for about 5-7 minutes, then flip and grill for another 5-7 minutes, or until tender and slightly charred.
- Remove from grill and serve immediately.
Notes
You can add other seasonings to the marinade, such as red pepper flakes or a squeeze of lemon juice. These mushrooms are great as a main dish or a side.
