For the Casserole
  • 6 croissants day-old, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup ham diced
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
For the Egg Mixture
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In the baking dish, combine the cubed croissants, diced ham, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissant mixture in the baking dish.
  5. Gently press down to ensure the croissants are moistened. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can add other ingredients like cooked bacon, spinach, or different types of cheese. For a richer flavor, you can use half-and-half instead of milk.
