Equipment

  • Pan
  • Baking tray or Air fryer

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine the onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and dried oregano.
  2. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and spray with oil. Add the beef mince and cook for 5 minutes, or until no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chopped pepperoni, and the herb and spice mix to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes, or until the pepperoni is slightly golden.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and optional parsley. Mix well, bring to a simmer, and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture is thick and reduced. Remove from heat.
  5. Spread the beef and pepperoni mixture evenly over the six wraps. Top with grated mozzarella cheese and your chosen sauce, if desired. Roll each wrap tightly.
  6. Place the rolled wraps on a baking tray or in an air fryer. Spray with oil and sprinkle with optional parsley. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 8-10 minutes, or cook in an air fryer at 180°C (350°F) for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Store any leftovers in foil, food-safe paper, or airtight containers.
