Servings: 4 chops
Course: Main Course
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

Pork Chops
  • 4 bone-in pork chops about 1 inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Equipment

  • Air fryer

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This helps create a better sear.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork chops, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Place the pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the juices run clear.
  7. Remove the pork chops from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, making them extra moist.

Notes

For thicker pork chops, you may need to increase the cooking time slightly. Always use a meat thermometer to ensure they are cooked to a safe internal temperature.
