- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper. Whisk together to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl with the marinade. Toss to coat each drumstick evenly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the drumsticks from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
- Place the drumsticks on the preheated grill. Grill for about 15 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the drumsticks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
You can adjust the amount of garlic and lemon juice to your preference. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
