Method
- Gather all your ingredients.
- Mix the brown sugar, mustard, and soy sauce together in a bowl. Reserve 1/4 cup of this mixture in a small bowl for basting; cover and refrigerate it until needed.
- Pour the remaining marinade into a resealable bag. Add the chicken wings, coat them well with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
- When you are ready to cook, preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Remove the wings from the marinade, shake off any excess liquid, and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Discard the leftover marinade.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Then, baste the wings with the reserved marinade. Continue to cook, basting every 10 minutes, until the chicken is no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear. This should take about 30 more minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone to ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
- Serve the wings and enjoy!
