Seven Layer Taco Dip

Ingredients
  

For the Dip
  • 1 16 ounce can refried beans
  • 1 1 ounce package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 16 ounce container sour cream
  • 1 8 ounce package cream cheese softened
  • 1 16 ounce jar salsa
  • 1 large tomato chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 bunch green onions chopped
  • 1 small head iceberg lettuce shredded
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 6 ounce can sliced black olives drained

Method
 

  1. Combine refried beans and taco seasoning in a medium bowl. Spread this mixture onto a large serving platter.
  2. Mix sour cream and cream cheese in a medium bowl. Spread this mixture over the refried beans.
  3. Top with salsa. Layer chopped tomato, bell pepper, green onions, and shredded lettuce over the salsa.
  4. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the top and garnish with drained black olives.

Notes

This dip is best served immediately after assembly.
