Pork Chops
  • 4 pork chops to taste
  • 1 salt to taste
  • 1 black pepper to taste
Vegetables and Fruit
  • 2 onions sliced into rings
  • 2 sweet potatoes sliced
  • 2 apples peeled, cored, and sliced into rings
Seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper to your preference. Place them in a medium oven-safe skillet. Top the pork chops with the sliced onions, sweet potatoes, and apples. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top. Season with 2 teaspoons of pepper and 1 teaspoon of salt.
  3. Cover the skillet and bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven. The dish is ready when the sweet potatoes are tender and the pork chops have reached an internal temperature of 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
