Method
- Place the frozen watermelon cubes, water, and lime juice in a blender.
- Blend until smooth and slushy. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more water, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
- Taste the slush and add honey or agave nectar if you prefer it sweeter. Blend again briefly to combine.
- Pour the watermelon slush into glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, freeze fresh watermelon cubes spread out on a baking sheet before transferring them to a freezer bag. This prevents them from clumping together.
